Public Groups: Health Policy & Advocacy

The DHPE Board approved the following funding and advocacy priorities for 2015. They are: Preserving the Prevention and Public Health Fund in the Affordable Care Act; Preserving funding for CDC’s Division, Physical Activity and Obesity; Basic and Enhanced State Chronic Disease funding; and, Preserving the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant funding. 

As A Member Organization, WE VALUE:

Coordinated funding to all states which assures core infrastructure and flexibility;

Relevant, evidence based public health approaches which provide impact;

A strong focus on school health and health equity; and,

Health in all policies.
